RESOLUTION NO. 2006-758
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO LEHMAN
TRUCKING & EXCAVATING OF WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR
DEMOLITION OF HOMES AT 2554 EDGEMONT AVENUE,
738 MOBILE STREET, AND 407-409 PINE STREET,
CONTRACT NO. 144-D-GO-08-18-06, IN THE AMOUNT
OF $33,865.00, APPROVING SAID CONTRACT AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID CONTRACT BY
MAYOR. .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Lehman Trucking & Excavating of Waterloo,
Iowa, in the amount of $33,865.00, for the Demolition of Homes at
2554 Edgemont Avenue, 738 Mobile Street, and 407-409 Pine' Street,
Contract No. 144-D-GO-08-18-06, be and is hereby accepted, the
same being the lowest bid received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with_ the said .contractor for the construction of said
improvements.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of August, 2006.
