RESOLUTION NO. 2009-356
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO IOWA
FENCE MASTERS, INC. OF WATERLOO, IOWA FOR THE
2008 DOG PARK FENCING PROJECT, PORTION B, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $15, 000 . 00 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Iowa Fence Masters, Inc . of Waterloo, Iowa,
in the amount of $15, 000 . 00, for the construction of the 2008 Dog
Park Fencing Project, Portion B, described in the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project, after public hearing on published notice required by
law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid
received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of April, 2009 .

Ward 2 DOG PARK FENCING PROJECT, Portion B, with Iowa Fence Masters,
Inc. of Waterloo, Iowa not to exceed Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00).

Ward 3 2008 Dog Park Fencing Project labor and materials bid totaled Forty-Five
Thousand Dollars ($45,000.00) was proposed by Iowa Fence Masters, Inc. of
QUENTIN M. Waterloo, Iowa. Portion A, is completed and was approved by council on
HART • December 15, 2008.
Ward 4
RON Leisure Services Commission recommended proceeding during the
WELPER December 9, 2008 Board Meeting. Donations and 407 Park Improvement
Ward 5 Bond funds will be used for this project.
