RESOLUTION NO. 2008-1109 RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO IOWA FENCE MASTERS, INC. OF WATERLOO, IOWA FOR THE 2008 DOG PARK FENCING PROJECT, PORTION A, IN THE AMOUNT OF $30, 000 . 00 . BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA: That the bid of Iowa Fence Masters, Inc. of Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of $30, 000 . 00, for the construction of the 2008 Dog Park Fencing Project, Portion A, described in the plans and specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said project, after public hearing on published notice required by law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid received for said work. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute contract with the said contractor for the construction of said improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until approved by this Council . Waterloo, IA SCHMITT Ward Dear Mayor and Council Members: CAROLYN COLE This is to request Mayor and Council for permission to proceed with 2008 Whin 2 DOG PARK FENCING PROJECT, Portion A, with Iowa Fence Masters, HAROLD Inc. of Waterloo, Iowa not to exceed Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00). GETTY Ward 3 2008 Dog Park Fencing Project labor and materials bid totaled Forty-Five Thousand Dollars ($45,000.00)was proposed by Iowa Fence Masters, Inc. of QLENTIN M Waterloo, Iowa. The remainder of the fencingproject,Portion B, will be HARTP j � Ward 4 returned to Council for approval before proceeding. RON Leisure Services Commission recommended proceeding during the WEEPER Ward 5 December 9, 2008 Board Meeting. No City monies will be used for this project.
