RESOLUTION NO. 2008-1109
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO IOWA
FENCE MASTERS, INC. OF WATERLOO, IOWA FOR THE
2008 DOG PARK FENCING PROJECT, PORTION A, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $30, 000 . 00 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Iowa Fence Masters, Inc. of Waterloo, Iowa,
in the amount of $30, 000 . 00, for the construction of the 2008 Dog
Park Fencing Project, Portion A, described in the plans and
specifications heretofore adopted by this Council for said
project, after public hearing on published notice required by
law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being the lowest bid
received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of December, 2008 .

Thousand Dollars ($45,000.00)was proposed by Iowa Fence Masters, Inc. of
QLENTIN M Waterloo, Iowa. The remainder of the fencingproject,Portion B, will be

Ward 4 returned to Council for approval before proceeding.
RON Leisure Services Commission recommended proceeding during the
WEEPER
Ward 5 December 9, 2008 Board Meeting. No City monies will be used for this
project.
