RESOLUTION NO. 2009-667
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING ON PROPOSED PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS,
FORM OF CONTRACT AND ESTIMATE OF COST FOR THE
2009 TIBBITS BASEBALL COMPLEX FENCING
PROJECT, IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO AND THE
TAKING OF BIDS THEREFORE, AS JULY 20, 2009,
AT 5 : 30 P.M. AT CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS
AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet at the City Hall Council Chambers in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5 : 30 p.m. on the 20th day of July, 2009, for
the purpose of holding a public hearing on proposed plans,
specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost for the
2009 Tibbits Baseball Complex Fencing Project, in the City of
Waterloo and the taking of bids therefore.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of July, 2009 .

CAROLYN This is to request that Council adopt resolutions to preliminarily approve the
COLE plans, specifications, and form of contract for 2009 Tibbitts Baseball Complex
Ward 2 Fencing Project, and to instruct the City Clerk to publish notice of hearing on
HAROLD plans, specifications, etc. and taking of bids, and to set date of hearing and bid
GEm opening as July 20, 2009.

This project provides an additional diamond for youth softball/baseball at
QUENTIN M. Tibbitts Park. Plans and specifications are available in the Clerk's Office.
