CAROLYN Dear Mayor and Council Members and/or Subcommittees:

Ward 2 On December 11,2006 the Mayor and Council awarded this contract to Lehman Trucking&
Excavating,the lowest,responsible bidder. During the pendency of this award the Vacant and
HAROLD Dilapidated Housing Committee decided to delete the garage at 1020 W.3rd from the contract
GETTY and add a house AND garage at 210 Park Road as a Change Order request. The garage at 1020

W. 3rd is being deleted because Legal staff advised that a private party and/or lender would
JOHN A. " demolish at their own expense. The house and garage at 210 Park Road is located next to D&R
KINCAID Meats and is a blight on the community.
Ward 4
RON Lehman Trucking&Excavating has quoted a figure of$7,600.00 for demolition;this figure
WELPER includes $1,800 for a 576 SF garage and$5,800 for a 1.5 story home. Staff considers this quote
Ward 5 reasonable and upon approval will make the necessary changes to the Contract totals.
