BUCK Council authorized bid solicitation on July 9, 2007 for the General Obligation Bond
CLARK Combined Asbestos Removal and Demolition Project, Contract No. 149-D/AR-GO-07-23-
Ward.3 07, using Plans and Specification to be prepared by the City's Community Development Office.
JOHN A. There are two, City-owned, commercial properties slated for demolition in this project to be
KINCAID listed as base bid. The property addresses are as follows: Base Bid: 206 W. Mullan and 218
Ward 4 W. 3rd St..

WEEPER Staff is recommending Council amend the Hearing/Contract Award to from July 23, 2007 to
Ward 5 August 6, 2007 due to the complexity of the project and preparation of Bid Specifications.
BOB It is recommended that the City Clerk appropriately publish/advertise the bid solicitation, and
GREENWOOD set August 6, 2007, as the date for the awarding of the contract to the lowest qualified bidder.
At-Lars' Staff will solicit bids from no fewer than three (3) qualified firms.
