' Staff is seeking authorization to solicit bids for the General Obligation Bond Combined
BUCKAsbestos Removal and Demolition Project, Contract No. 149-D/AR-GO-07-23-07, using
CLARK Plans and Specification to be prepared by the City's Community Development Office. There
wa,tr 3 are two, City-owned, commercial properties slated for demolition in this project to be listed as
PIN A. base bid. The property addresses are as follows: Base Bid: 206 W. Mullan and 218 W. 3rd St..

Ward-I The Demolition Contractor, as Prime Contractor,will also be responsible for completing or
RON subcontracting the completion of Asbestos Removal at both structures. Therefore, this is a

publish/advertise the bid solicitation, and set July 23, 2007, as the date for the awarding of the
contract to the lowest qualified bidder. Staff will solicit bids from no fewer than three (3)
qualified firms.
