CONTRACT NO. 157-D-GO-05-26-08

SCHMITT Staff is seeking authorization to solicit bids for the General Obligation Bond Demolition
1Vard I Project, Contract No. 157-D-GO-05-26-08, using Plans and Specifications prepared by the
CAROLYN City's Community Development Office. The project involves six (6)homes and one (1) garage
COLE scheduled for demolition in this project to be listed as Base Bid . The property addresses are as
Ward 2 follows:
HAROLD
GETTY HOUSES: 126 N. Barclay St.; 132 Sumner St.,
Ward 3 120 Argyle St., 123 Argyle St., and 133 Argyle St.
QUENTIN M.
HART GARAGE: 710 Randolph. St.
Ward 4
RON It is anticipated that the estimated cost of this contract will exceed the $25,000 threshold;
WELPER therefore, a public hearing is required.
Ward 5
BOB
It is recommended that Council authorize bid solicitation on May 5,2008, and set May 19,
GREENWOOD 2008, as the Bid Opening Date, and May 26,2008 as the Bid Award and Execution of Contract
At-Large date. Staff will solicit competitive bids.
