RESOLUTION NO. 2008-408
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATED
COST, ETC. , IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE GENERAL
OBLIGATION BOND DEMOLITION PROJECT, CONTRACT
NO. 157-D-GO-05-26-08 .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Contracts and Grants Coordinator of
said City to prepare proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc. , for the General Obligation Bond Demolition
Project, Contract No. 157-D-GO-05-26-08, in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Contracts and Grants Coordinator did file said
preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. , for
the General Obligation Bond Demolition Project, Contract No. 157-
D-GO-05-26-08, which were preliminarily approved on May 5, 2008,
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on May 19,
2008, and no objections were made .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract and bond, etc. , for the General Obligation Bond
Demolition Project, Contract No. 157-D-GO-05-26-08, in the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, be, and the same are hereby, approved as
filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of May, 2008 .
