CAROCOLE LiN Staff is seeking authorization to solicit bids for the General Obligation Bond Demolition
Ward 2 Project, Contract No. 162-D-GO-01-20-09,using Plans and Specifications prepared by the
City's Community Development Office. The project involves three (3)homes, three (3)
HAROLD duplexes, and four(4) garages scheduled for demolition in this project, a total of 10

WEEPER It is anticipated that the estimated cost of this contract will exceed the $25 000 threshold;

GREENWOOD It is recommended that Council authorize bid solicitation on December 22,2008, and set
January 20,2009, as the Bid Opening Date and the Bid Award and Execution of Contract
