Staff is seeking authorization to solicit bids for the General Obligation Bond Demolition
HAROLD Project, Contract No. 166-D-GO-10-05-09, using Plans and Specifications prepared by the
GETTY City's Community Development Office. There are eight (8) houses and one (1) garage

scheduled for demolition in this project. The property addresses are as follows:

SCHMITT It is anticipated that the estimated cost of this contract may exceed the $25,000 threshold;
At-Large therefore, a public hearing is required.
It is recommended that Council authorize bid solicitation on September 14, 2009, and set
September 28, 2009, as the Bid Opening Date, and October 5, 2009, as Award and Execution
of Contract date. Staff will solicit competitive bids.
