RESOLUTION NO. 2013-781A
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF SAC'S
NEIGHBORHOOD PUB FOR A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE
NO. 3094, NOISE ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, SAC'S Neighborhood Pub is requesting a variance to
the Noise Ordinance on October 12, 2013 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00
p.m., in conjunction with a Grand Opening event to be held at
2000 Hawthorne Avenue, including a band and the use of a PA
system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Ordinance
No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said SAC'S Neighborhood Pub has made formal
application for a variance effective October 12, 2103 from 7:00
p.m. to 10:00 p.m., together with recommendation and approval of
the Director of Safety Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of SAC'S Neighborhood Pub for a
variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, on October 12,
2013 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., in conjunction with a Grand
Opening event to be held at 2000 Hawthorne Avenue, including a
band and the use of a PA system, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of October, 2013.

RESOLUTION NO. 2013-781
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE RECOMMENDATION OF
ACCEPTANCE AS TO WORK AND MATERIALS FURNISHED
BY BOULDER CONTRACTING, LLC OF GRUNDY CENTER,
IOWA, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE F.Y. 2013
SIDEWALK REPAIR PROGRAM - ZONE 3 AND TRAIL
REPAIRS, CONTRACT NO. 848, AND ACCEPTING THE
WORK.
WHEREAS, Boulder Contracting, LLC of Grundy Center, Iowa,
has under contract with the City of Waterloo, Iowa, furnished
certain materials and performed labor at a total cost of
$181,643.70 in conjunction with the F.Y. 2013 Sidewalk Repair
Program - Zone 3 and Trail Repairs, Contract No. 848, in the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Certificate of Completion and Recommendation of
Acceptance be and the same hereby approved.
