RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO THE
LOUIS BERGER GROUP, INC. OF MARION, IOWA FOR
ARCHAEOLOGICAL SERVICES FOR DEMOLITION
ACTIVITIES OF THE HAZARD MITIGATION GRANT
PROGRAM (HMGP) PROPERTY ACQUISITION PROJECT,
IN THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF $89, 725 . 00 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of The Louis Berger Group, Inc . of Marion,
Iowa, in the maximum amount of $89, 725 . 00, for Archaeological
Services for Demolition Activities of the Hazard Mitigation Grant
Program (HMGP) Property Acquisition Project, described in the
Request for Proposal document, contract, etc . heretofore adopted
by this Council for said project, after public hearing on
published notice required by law, be and is hereby accepted, the
same being the lowest bid received for said work.
The Mayor and Deputy City Clerk are hereby directed to
execute contract with the said contractor for Archaeological
Services for Demolition Activities of the Hazard Mitigation Grant
Program (HMGP) Property Acquisition Project, described in the
Request for Proposal document, contract, etc . , said contract not
to be binding on the City until approved by this Council .
