RESOLUTION NO. 2008-696
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATED
COST, ETC. , IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 2008
SWIMMING POOL RENOVATIONS AT GATES AND BYRNES
POOLS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Building Official/Maintenance
Administrator of said City to prepare proposed plans,
specifications, form of contract, etc. , for the 2008 Swimming
Pool Renovations at Gates and Byrnes Pools, in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Building Official/Maintenance Administrator
did file said preliminary plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc. , for the 2008 Swimming Pool Renovations at Gates
and Byrnes Pools, which were preliminarily approved on July 28,
2008, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on
August 18, 2008 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc. , for the 2008 Swimming Pool Renovations at Gates
and Byrnes Pools, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be, and the same
are hereby, approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of August, 2008 .
