RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO STAR
EQUIPMENT OF WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR THE PURCHASE
OF ONE (1) 12" SKID MOUNTED PUMP IN THE
AMOUNT OF $80 , 545 . 00; GIERKE-ROBINSON OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2)
6" TRAILER MOUNTED PUMPS IN THE AMOUNT OF
$50, 552 . 00 ; AND BLACK HAWK RENTAL OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, FOR THE PURCHASE OF FOURTEEN
(14) 4" TRASH PUMPS IN THE AMOUNT OF
$26, 250 . 00 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Star Equipment of Waterloo, Iowa, for the
Purchase of One (1) 12" Skid Mounted Pump in the amount of
$80, 545 . 00 ; Gierke-Robinson of Waterloo, Iowa, for the Purchase
of Two (2) 6" Trailer Mounted Pumps in the amount of $50, 552 . 00;
and Black Hawk Rental of Waterloo, Iowa, for the Purchase of
Fourteen (14) 4" Trash Pumps in the amount of $26, 250 . 00,
described in the specifications heretofore adopted by this
Council for said purchases, after public hearing on published
notice required by law, be and is hereby accepted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of April, 2009 .
