Subj: 2008 Stone Replacement for the
Waterloo Public Library
Tim,
In the process of checking the stone shop drawings for the subject project, an error was
discovered in the project plans. On the west elevation(along parking lot) the portion of wall
north of the double doors is shown on the plans being a length of approximately 30'-8", and when
field measured it was found to be actually 40'-8". In addition, the actual panel sizes are taller
than shown. See attached letter from Carl Schuler Masonry Construction for further explanation.
For these reasons, we are submitting the following change request.
We propose to furnish all material, labor, and equipment required to complete additional
pavement/sidewalk removal, install additional sidewalk, and complete additional stone panel
work associated with the dimension discrepancy noted above for the sum of$4,734.00.

Pavement/sidewalk removal $ 116.00
Sidewalk 322.00
Stone panels 3,800.00
Bond 66.00
Contractor's fee 430.00
Total add: $4,734.00
