RESOLUTION NO. 2008-657
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING ON PROPOSED PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS,
FORM OF CONTRACT AND ESTIMATE OF COST FOR THE
2008 STONE REPLACEMENT FOR THE WATERLOO
PUBLIC LIBRARY, IN THE CITY OF WATERLOO AND
THE TAKING OF BIDS THEREFORE, AS AUGUST 25,
2008, AT 5 : 30 P.M. AT CITY HALL COUNCIL
CHAMBERS AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO
PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet at the City Hall Council Chambers in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5 : 30 p.m. on the 25th day of August, 2008, for
the purpose of holding a public hearing on proposed plans,
specifications, form of contract and estimate of cost for the
2008 Stone Replacement for the Waterloo Public Library, in the
City of Waterloo and the taking of bids therefore.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of August, 2008 .

NOTICE OF PROPOSED PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Chapter 73A, Section 73A.2 of the 1999 Code of Iowa, applicable to the
City Council of the CITY OF WATERLOO.
This District includes all or part of the following Iowa Counties: BLACK HAWK.
The said City Council proposes to construct 2008 STONE REPLACEMENT FOR THE WATERLOO PUBLIC
LIBRARY,WATERLOO,IOWA.
Proposed Drawings and Specifications, as well as proposed form of contract have been adopted therefore by the said
Council, and copies of said construction contract documents are now on file and available for inspection at CITY
OF WATERLOO.
A public hearing at which any and all interested persons may appear and file objection to said proposed Plans,
Specifications,Form of Contract for,or cost of such improvements will be held as provided by law in the CITY OF
WATERLOO,715 MULBERRY STREET,WATERLOO,IA 50703.
The time of the public hearing is hereby set at 5:30 P M. (Local Time)on August 25,2008.
