RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION
OF BCS PROPERTIES, LLC TO REZONE
APPROXIMATELY 1.31 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED AT
1850 WEST RIDGEWAY AVENUE FROM "R -2,C -Z"
CONDITIONAL ZONING DISTRICT TO 'NC -2"
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, AS OCTOBER 21, 2013, AT
5:30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY
HALL AND INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 215t day of October, 2013,
for the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of
BCS Properties, LLC to rezone approximately 1.31 acres of land
located at 1850 West Ridgeway Avenue from "R -2,C -Z" Conditional
Zoning District to "C-2" Commercial District, and legally
described as follows:
That part of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1-4) of Section
Thirty-three (33), Township Eighty-nine North (T89N),
Range Thirteen West (R13W) of the Fifth Principal
Meridian, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the South Quarter corner of aforesaid
Section Thirty-three (33); thence N90°00'00"W Six
Hundred Ninety-six and Thirty-one Hundredths (696.31)
feet along the South line of aforesaid Southwest
Quarter (SW 1-4) to the Southerly extension of the East
line of Parcel "A", Misc. Book 296, Page 832 in the
Black Hawk County Recorder's Office and to the point of
beginning; thence N01°40'30"W Three Hundred Twenty-five
(325.00) feet along said Southerly extension, and along
said East line; thence N90000'00"W One Hundred Seventy-
six (176.00) feet along a line parallel to the
aforesaid South line to the East line of Parcel "J",
Misc. Book 332, Page 723, aforesaid Recorder's Office;
thence S01040'30"E Three Hundred Twenty-five (325.00)
feet along said East line of Parcel "J", and along the
Southerly extension thereof, to aforesaid South line;
thence N90°00'00"E One Hundred Seventy-six (176.00)
feet along said South line to the point of beginning
containing 1.31 Acres.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
