RESOLUTION NO. 2008-570
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATED
COST, ETC. , IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE PURCHASE
OF SIX (6) SOLAR-POWERED RADIO-CONTROLLED
FLASHING BEACONS, UST-8155 (703)-4A-07 .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Superintendent of Traffic Operations of
said City to prepare proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc. , for the Purchase of Six (6) Solar-Powered Radio-
Controlled Flashing Beacons, UST-8155 (703)-4A-07, in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Superintendent of Traffic Operations did file
said preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. ,
for the Purchase of Six (6) Solar-Powered Radio-Controlled
Flashing Beacons, UST-8155 (703)-4A-07, which were preliminarily
approved on June 23, 2008, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on July 7,
2008 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc. , for the Purchase of Six (6) Solar-Powered Radio-
Controlled Flashing Beacons, UST-8155 (703)-4A-07, in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, be, and the same are hereby, approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of July, 2008 .
