RESOLUTION NO. 2009-576
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
HAWKEYE INTERNATIONAL TRUCKS OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) SINGLE AXLE
DUMP TRUCKS WITH SNOW CONTROL EQUIPMENT, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $113 , 600 . 00 PER TRUCK, AND ONE
(1) TANDEM AXLE DUMP TRUCK WITH SNOW PLOW, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $119, 747 . 50 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of Hawkeye International Trucks of Waterloo,
Iowa, for the Purchase of Two (2) Single Axle Dump Trucks with
Snow Control Equipment, in the amount of $113 , 600 . 00 per truck,
and One (1) Tandem Axle Dump Truck with Snow Plow, in the amount
of $119, 747 . 50, described in the specifications heretofore
adopted by this Council for said purchase, after public hearing
on published notice required by law, be and is hereby accepted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of June, 2009 .
