RESOLUTION NO. 2009-519
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF
SPECIFICATIONS, BID DOCUMENT, FORM OF
CONTRACT, ESTIMATED COST, ETC. , IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1)
CURRENT YEAR TANDEM DUMP TRUCK AND TWO (2)
SINGLE AXLE DUMP TRUCKS WITH SNOW CONTROL
PACKAGE FOR THE STREET DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Superintendent of Central Garage of
said City to prepare proposed specifications, bid document, form
of contract, etc . , for the Purchase of One (1) Current Year
Tandem Dump Truck and Two (2) Single Axle Dump Trucks with Snow
Control Package for the Street Department, in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Superintendent of Central Garage did file said
preliminary specifications, bid document, form of contract, etc. ,
for the Purchase of One (1) Current Year Tandem Dump Truck and
Two (2) Single Axle Dump Trucks with Snow Control Package for the
Street Department, which were preliminarily approved on May 18,
2009, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on June 8,
2009, and no objections were made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed specifications, bid document,
form of contract, etc . , for the Purchase of One (1) Current Year
Tandem Dump Truck and Two (2) Single Axle Dump Trucks with Snow
Control Package for the Street Department, in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, be, and the same are hereby, approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of June, 2009 .
