SCHMITT Rath Administration Building.

CAROLYN Debris and rubble removal from building interior

Ward 2 Staff is seeking award of a Contract relating to the Rath Administration Building/Mako
Development Project. The Contract relates to the removal of trash and debris resulting
HAROLD from vandalism, illegal dumping, or deterioration inside of the building. (The attached

Ward 3 photo is illustrative). The removal of the debris will help jumpstart the renovation and
rehabilitation of the building and transfer of the property to the Developer. Time is of the
QUENTIN M. essence. Mako, the developer, has agreed to share half of the cost. The expenditure will

RON Staff has solicited bids relating to this project. Bids were received from Advanced
\W'ELPER Environmental in the amount of$12,000 and Quick Construction in the amount of

$11,500. Staff is recommending award to Quick Construction. The City's share of the
BOB cost will be 1/2 of$11, 500 or $5,750.00.
GREENWOOD
At-Large Staff requests that the Mayor or his designee execute the Contract awarded to Quick
STEVE Construction.
