Ward 22 Attached is a proposed Agreement for Engineering Services that is associated with the future
BUCK relocation of a portion of River Road north of Commercial Street and the extension of
CLARK Commercial Street westerly through the John Deere Westfield Plant to Westfield Drive.

The scope of work under this agreement includes the preliminary and final design of these
JOHN A. roadway improvements and preparation of plans and specifications. It is anticipated that
4 D construction could begin in April 2007,but much depends on the redevelopment schedule of the
Ward
Deere &Company's Westfield facility.

WELPER Cost for this Agreement is a lump sum of$227,150.00. This project includes a$1,359,424.00
Wards RISE Grant and the funding breakdown of the Agreement is as follows:
BOB State RISE Funding $113,575.00 (50%)
GREENWOOD City of Waterloo Local Match $113,575.00(50%)
At-Large
ERIC Total Funds for Agreement= $227,150.00

The City's local match will be financed by General Obligation Bonds. Staff has reviewed this
Agreement and recommends Council approve this document and authorize Mayor to sign and
enter into said Agreement.
