SUBJECT: Approval of recommendation of contract award for T-hangar door
replacement project to Prairie Construction of Waterloo, Iowa in the amount of
$146,850.

Source of Funds: 100% grant— IDOT Vertical Infrastructure Grant (I-Jobs).

Alternative
Background Information: The Airport receives approximately $110,00o each year
from a Vertical Infrastructure fund through IDOT for facility improvements. These
funds are through an aviation trust fund supported by aviation user fees. We are using
funds through two grants (multi-year) to fund this improvement. The hangar doors are
approximately 35 years old and in need of replacement. This is the only grant funding
available to improve hangars.
