Ladies and Gentlemen:
Please make the following corrections or changes to the bidding documents. These items shall supersede,
modify and/or change all statements or drawings to the contrary in the plans and specifications and shall
take precedence over these documents. Bidders shall base their bid on the plans and specifications as
modified by the changes herein specified.
GENERAL
SPECIFICATIONS
ITEM #1 ADVERTISEMENT TO BID... under Description of the Project make the following correction:
Delete the second sentence. " o RuQed eer upon off-concrete-blQ k s e a;;s,
This portion of the work is
included under another contract. Also, only minimal repairs to concrete foundations might
be necessary (i.e. grouting of beam bearing plates).
ITEM #2 DIVISION I- 01100, page 1, 1.3 Work Covered by Contract Documents, item D ...
Note the change above applies also to the description herein.
ITEM #3 DIVISION IX- 099120 INTERIOR PAINTING... add the following:
All new steel patches shall be prime coated after welding with PPG 90-712 Interior/
Exterior 100%Acrylic, Low VOC Primer, OR EQUAL; final top coat paint to be by others.
DRAWINGS
ITEM #4 Sheet ADD-1... ADDITIONAL PANNING REPAIR PLAN of this Addendum #1
Attached please find drawing ADD-1 showing additional repairs and Addendum #1
Notes. The drawing shows additional repair work that was found after existing walls were
recently removed by the owner exposing the steel underside of the grandstand. Please
add the additional repair work to the scope of the contract work. Note also that all
plates are top installed and corners and edges need to be ground smooth and welds
shall be continuous and aesthetic or ground smooth prior to painting.

ITEM #5 Sheet ADD-1 ... ADDITIONAL PANNING REPAIR PLAN of this Addendum #1
Please note that many of the small holes in the pan deck that are sound (not rusted through
but are holes from fasteners for conduit attachment or such) can be filled by a weld and
ground smooth in lieu of a patch installed over them. This method is acceptable, but the size
of such holes shall be limited to those less than 1/4" in diameter size and it will be the
contractors responsibility to determine those that meet that criteria for bidding purposes
otherwise, the plate patch will be performed.
