RESOLUTION APPROVING MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING WITH IOWA NORTHLAND REGIONAL
COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS (INRCOG) AND
APPLICATION WITH IOWA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION FOR IOWA' S CLEAN AIR
ATTAINMENT PROGRAM, AND DIRECTING EXECUTION
AND SUBMITTAL OF SAME BY MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Memorandum of Understanding dated September 22 , 1997 for
grant writing services for Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality
funding in conjunction with San Marnan Drive Traffic Improvements,
by and between Iowa Northland Regional Council of Governments
(INRCOG) and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is hereby
approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the same in behalf
of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Application dated September
22 , 1997 for Iowa ' s Clean Air Attainment Program for Congestion
Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) funding in conjunction with San
Marnan Drive Traffic Improvements, by and between the Iowa
Department of Transportation and the City of Waterloo, be and the
same is hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute same
and submit in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of September, 1997 .
