RE: Shadow Creek Crossing Townhome Development
Phase IV Public Infrastructure Acceptance
Dear Mr. Gentz:
On behalf of Shadow Creek Crossing, LLC and High Development, we hereby request City
approval of all public infrastructure (sanitary sewer and manholes only) within and along Lois
Lane from Governor Court to the existing sanitary manhole connection near STA 202+36. All
sanitary sewers were televised by City crews including the existing line from the existing manhole
back to Hammond Avenue. This construction completes all of Phase IV &V public improvements
for this development except street signage which will be installed this spring. The construction of
the proposed raised median in front of Building #23 is deferred due to ongoing building
construction. Lois Lane is intended to remain closed to through traffic until more buildings are
completed as not to conflict with building construction activities.
We certify that the improvements were constructed in substantial conformance with the
construction documents and per City specifications. The following documents are attached with
this submittal:
•Material Certifications
•As-Built Plans
•Cost breakdown for sanitary sewer costs
•Contractor as-built measurements
We also certify that all sanitary sewer mains exceeded the applicable minimum air test
requirements. No compaction testing was completed with this phase of construction, but we can
assure the City that similar soils were encountered and means of compaction were employed as
with previous phases of work.
Please contact our office for additional information or if you have any questions. Thank you for all
your assistance with this residential development project in the City of Waterloo.
Respectfully submitted,
ANDERSON-BOGERT
