QUENTIN NI. Enclosed please find an agreement between the City of Waterloo and
HART Iowa DOT for a safety grant in the amount of$250,000.00. This
Wi7ic1 project involves the installation of guidance signs on Sergeant Road
RON to reduce confusion for accessing U.S 20. The Traffic Operations
WEEPER Department applied for this grant and consequently the City was

GREENWOOD Iowa DOT has agreed to help the City by designing the signs and
At-Large letting the project. No matching funds are required. 100% of the
construction costs are reimbursable. The letting is set for July 2009.
