RESOLUTION NO. 2006-648
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATED
COST, ETC. , IN CONJUNCTION WITH PURCHASE OF
TRAFFIC SIGNAL EQUIPMENT FOR OLYMPIC DRIVE AND
ANSBOROUGH AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Superintendent of Traffic Operations of
said City to prepare proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc. , for the Purchase of Traffic Signal Equipment for
Olympic Drive and Ansborough Avenue, in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Superintendent of Traffic Operations did file
said preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. ,
for the Purchase of Traffic Signal Equipment for Olympic Drive
and Ansborough Avenue, which were preliminarily approved on July
24, 2006, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on August
7, 2006, and no objections were made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc. , for the Purchase of Traffic Signal Equipment for
Olympic Drive and Ansborough Avenue, in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, be, and the same are hereby, approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of August, 2006.
