Dear Mayor Hurley and Council Members,

CLARK Enclosed please find two copies of a contract between the City of Waterloo
Ward 3 and Ament, Inc. for preliminary and final design services for signalization.
JOHN A. The contract states that the cost of services will be limited to $7,000.00. City
KINCAID GO bond funds will be sued to pay for the services. The construction of the
Ward 4 project will be partially funded by a state Traffic Safety Fund grant.

WELPER The staff has reviewed this contract and recommends approval. This item will
Ward y be on the November 7, 2005 Council Agenda.
