The contractor shall make.good-faith

TSB contractors or vendors must pro-
vide the prime contractor a reasonable
competitive price for the goods being
rendered or the contractor is not required
to accept their bid.
LIQUIDATED DAMAGES FOR LATE
DELIVERY
The supplier shall pay to the City of Wa-
terloo liquidated damages of twenty dol-
lars($20)per day for each day passed
the authorized delivery date plus any au-
• thorized time extensions.
SALES TAX EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE

B.SUBMISSION OF BIDS
A bid must be sealed in a separate
envelope and marked to indicate Its con-
tents and be accompanied by the bid
security in a separate envelope.If for-
warded by mail;the two envelopes shall
be placed in a third and mailed to the City
Clerk of the City of Waterloo.
Bids received prior to the advertised
hour of opening will be securely kept
sealed.The officer whose duty it is to
open them will decide when the specified
time has arrived,and no bid received
thereafter will be considered;except that
when a bid arrives by mail after the time
fixed for opening,but before the reading
• of all other bids Is completed,and it is
shown to the satisfaction of the City of
Waterloo,Iowa,that the non-arrival on
time was due solely to delay In the mails
forwhich the bidder was not responsible.
C.EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT
A contract form is enclosed at the end of
this Bid Documents.The successful bid-
der should sign the contraotand deliver It
to the City within ten(10)days after the
City of Waterloo,Iowa,awards a con-
tract to the bidder.
