Enclosed please find one set of plans and specifications for the Storage Building at the Waterloo WPCF.
We have prepared the documents in anticipation of Council approval on November 10, 2008, and
accepting bids on December 1, 2008. The documents establish the completion date of June 30, 2009.
These should be given to Nancy Eckert today to get them on the Council Agenda for Monday night.

RESOLUTION NO. 2008-1037
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC. , IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE STORAGE BUILDING FOR THE
WATER POLLUTION CONTROL FACILITY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Superintendent of Waste Management
Services of said City to prepare proposed plans, specifications,
form of contract, etc. , for the Storage Building for the Water
Pollution Control Facility, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Superintendent of Waste Management Services
did file said preliminary plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc. , for the Storage Building for the Water Pollution
Control Facility, which were preliminarily approved on
November 10, 2008, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on
December 1, 2008 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract, etc. , for the Storage Building for the Water Pollution
Control Facility, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be, and the same
are hereby, approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of December, 2008 .

RESOLUTION NO. 2008-1038
RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE
STORAGE BUILDING FOR THE WATER POLLUTION
CONTROL FACILITY.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2008-1037, plans, specifications,
form of contract, etc. , for the Storage Building for the Water
Pollution Control Facility, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, have
been approved and adopted by this Council after the hearing
prescribed by statute.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it
is so ordered on motion by this Council that the said
improvements be constructed in accordance with said plans and
specifications .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of December, 2008 .
