Subject: Heating/Cooling Water Treatment for City Buildings
Due to travel issues this bid was not completed until Saturday, October 4, 2003. As our
Corporate Offices reside in Minneapolis, it was not possible to have the Bid Bond
delivered in time for this bid.
The Bid Bond, in the amount of One Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty Four
Dollars, ($1,724.00)will be delivered via courier prior to 10:00 AM to the Clerks'
office, Tuesday, October 7, 2003.
As Jaytech, Inc. is the Water Treatment Company that originally brought these
mechanical issues to light, we fully understand the severity of the situation and need for
these services.
We sincerely hope this slight delay is not of concern as our reputation stands for no
nonsense and quick response to our customer needs.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Subject: Water Treatment for heating/cooling systems for city buildings
Attn. Waterloo City Council
Attached please find our bid numbers for the above referenced bid project. We are
fully aware of the internal conditions of most of these systems, having surveyed
these in depth previously.
Our proposal includes the supply and use of Stainless Steel constructed, cartridge
type filtration equipment for the 5 Sullivan Brothers and Library facilities. These
filtration units are top of the line and not purchased at a local lumber or plumbing
supply. These units were chosen as performance of a lesser filtration product will
not meet the need of these two badly fouled systems and would simply be a waste of
time and money.
We have worked closely with Blackhawk County facilities for many years and our
reputation stands for itself.
