RESOLUTION NO. 2008-782
RESOLUTION MAKING AWARD OF CONTRACT TO T & W
GRINDING SERVICE OF DELHI, IOWA, FOR
COMPOSTING COLLECTED YARD WASTE, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $25 . 00 PER TON.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA:
That the bid of T & W Grinding Service of Delhi, Iowa, in
the amount of $25 . 00 per ton, for Composting Collected Yard
Waste, described in the scope of services heretofore adopted by
this Council for said project, after public hearing on published
notice required by law, be and is hereby accepted, the same being
the lowest bid received for said work.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby directed to execute
contract with the said contractor for the construction of said
improvements, said contract not to be binding on the City until
approved by this Council .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of September, 2008 .
