Hello
The next meeting(Kick-Off meeting)with FEMA Public
Assistance Coordinator will be Firday,April 6,at 10
AM,in lower level classroom of the HMRTC,1925 Newell
Street.
The FEMA Public Assistance Coordinator will conduct
2 similar Kick-Off meetings for agencies in Black Hawk
Co.that have submitted requests for assistance,with
8—10 agencies being at each of the 2 meetings. The
Friday April 6,at 10 AM will be primarily for local
juricdictions. These mentioned here have been
notified of meeting time,date,and location..
People who should attend are those that have first
hand knowledge of the damage,as well as person(s)who
will manage the grant financial details. Grant
funding is 75%Fed,10%State,15%local.
Grant projects should be less than$1,000,000.
Large projects that exceed$1,000,000 need to be broken
out into smaller projects. Projects exceeding
$1,000,000 required additional Federal approvals,thus take
much longer to get funds issued,than those under$1 mil.
