RESOLUTION NO. 2026-485
RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE
AGREEMENT WITH SCHUMACHER ELEVATOR, DENVER, IOWA,
FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE WATERLOO PUBLIC LIBRARY
ELEVATOR IN THE AMOUNT OF $274,344.00, RESCINDING
RESOLUTION NO. 2025-641 IN ITS ENTIRETY, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa desires to enter into a Professional Service
Agreement with Schumacher Elevator, Denver, Iowa, in the amount of $274,344.00 for
replacement of the elevator at the Waterloo Public Library; and
WHEREAS, the City Council previously adopted Resolution No. 2025-641 pertaining to
this matter and now finds it necessary and appropriate to rescind said Resolution in its entirety.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The Professional Service Agreement between the City of Waterloo and Schumacher
Elevator, Denver, Iowa, for replacement of the Waterloo Public Library elevator, in the amount
of $274,344.00, is hereby approved.
2. That Resolution No. 2025-641 is hereby rescinded in its entirety.
3. That the Mayor and City Clerk are and directed to execute said document on behalf of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
