RESOLUTION NO. 2026-488
RESOLUTION APPROVING A TEMPORARY EASEMENT
AGREEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,269.00 WITH NNDYM WLK,
INC., LOCATED AT 1945 LA PORTE ROAD, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE LA PORTE ROAD PHASE III RECONSTRUCTION
PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa is undertaking the La Porte Road Phase III
Reconstruction Project; and
WHEREAS, the City requires a temporary easement from NNDYM WLK, Inc., for
property located at 1945 La Porte Road, in connection with said Project; and
WHEREAS, the compensation for the Temporary Easement Agreement is $2,269.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that acquiring the temporary easement is necessary
and in the best interests of the city.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The Temporary Easement Agreement with NNDYM WLK, Inc., for property located
at 1945 La Porte Road, in the amount of $2,269.00, in conjunction with the La Porte Road Phase
III Reconstruction Project, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8' day of September 2026.
