RESOLUTION NO. 2026-539
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AN AIRPORT IMPROVEMENT
PROGRAM GRANT WITH THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION, IN THE AMOUNT OF $107,725.00,
FUNDED AT SEVENTY-FIVE PERCENT, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE HANGAR DEVELOPMENT PLANNING STUDY
PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS the Iowa Department of Transportation has awarded the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, an Airport Improvement Program Grant in the amount of $107,725.00; and
WHEREAS, the grant is funded at seventy-five percent and will be used in connection with the
Hangar Development Planning Study Project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that acceptance of the grant is in the best interests of
the City of Waterloo.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The Airport Improvement Program Grant with the Iowa Department of
Transportation, in the amount of $107,725.00, funded at seventy-five percent (75%), in
connection with the Hangar Development Planning Study Project, is hereby accepted.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
