RESOLUTION NO. 2026-545
RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH
BOOMERANG CORP. OF ANAMOSA, IOWA, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $1,667,660.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
REHABILITATE PARTIAL RUNWAY 18-36 PROJECT, FAA
AIP 3-19-0094-059-2026 AND FAA AIP 3-19-0094-060-2026,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo desires to complete the Rehabilitate Partial Runway 18-
36 Project; and
WHEREAS, Boomerang Corp., of Anamosa, Iowa, has submitted a contract for the
completion of the project in the amount of $1,667,660.00; and
WHEREAS, the project is identified as FAA Airport Improvement Program Project Nos.
3-19-0094-059-2026 and 3-19-0094-060-2026; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that approval of the contract is in the best interests of
the City of Waterloo.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The contract with Boomerang Corp., of Anamosa, Iowa, in the amount of
$1,667,660.00, for the Rehabilitate Partial Runway 18-36 Project, FAA AIP Project Nos. 3-19-
0094-059-2026 and 3-19-0094-060-2026, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
