RESOLUTION NO. 2026-548
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN GRANT ADMINISTRATION
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH THE IOWA NORTHLAND
REGIONAL COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS, IN AN
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $30,000.00, TO OVERSEE THE
EDA GRANT IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2026 EDA
WARP STORM, SANITARY, AND WATER EXTENSIONS
PROJECT, CONTRACT 1138, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo, Iowa, is undertaking the FY 2026 EDA WARP Storm,
Sanitary, and Water Extensions Project, Contract No. 1138; and
WHEREAS, the city desires to retain the Iowa Northland Regional Council of
Governments to provide grant administration services associated with the Economic
Development Administration grant for the project; and
WHEREAS, the Iowa Northland Regional Council of Governments has submitted a
Grant Administration Services Agreement in an amount not to exceed $30,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that approval of the Grant Administration Services
Agreement is in the best interests of the City of Waterloo.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The Grant Administration Services Agreement with the Iowa Northland Regional
Council of Governments, in an amount not to exceed $30,000.00, to administer the EDA grant in
connection with the FY 2026 EDA WARP Storm, Sanitary, and Water Extensions Project,
Contract No. 1138, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
