RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE AIA
- 2017 STANDARD FORM AGREEMENT WITH PLUNKETT
RAYSICH ARCHITECTS, LLP, DATED FEBRUARY 10, 2025,
TITLED WATERLOO POLICE SUPPORT CAMPUS TO
AMEND THE PROJECT LOCATION TO 100 E. 5TH STREET,
AND TO AMEND THE TIMELINE AND THE PROJECT
BUDGET TO $5,300,000.00, AND FEE SCHEDULE, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS the City of Waterloo, Iowa, entered into an AIA 2017 Standard Form
Agreement with Plunkett Raysich Architects, LLP, dated February 10, 2025, for professional
architectural services related to the Waterloo Police Support Campus Project; and
WHEREAS, the city desires to amend the Agreement to revise the project location to 100
E. 5th Street; and
WHEREAS, the City further desires to amend the project timeline, establish the project
budget in the amount of $5,300,000.00, and revise the fee schedule; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that approval of the amendment is in the best
interests of the City of Waterloo.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The Amendment to the AIA 2017 Standard Form Agreement with Plunkett Raysich
Architects, LLP, dated February 10, 2025, for the Waterloo Police Support Campus Project, is
hereby approved.
2. The Amendment shall revise the project location to 100 E. 5th Street, amend the
project timeline, establish the project budget at $5,300,000.00, and revise the fee schedule, as set
forth in the Amendment.
3. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute said document on behalf of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa.
