RESOLUTION NO. 2026-535
RESOLUTION APPROVING CANCELLATION OF
SIDEWALK ASSESSMENTS FOR PROPERTIES LOCATED
AT 919 ALLEN STREET (PARCEL NO. 891326453019), IN
THE AMOUNT OF $3,185.94, AND THE 500 BLOCK OF
JOHNSON STREET (PARCEL NO. 891326453020), IN THE
AMOUNT OF $1,294.25, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
CLERK TO NOTIFY BLACK HAWK COUNTY TREASURER
OF SAID CANCELLATION.
WHEREAS the properties located at 919 Allen Street (Parcel No. 891326453019) and
500 block of Johnson Street (Parcel No. 891326453020) in the City of Waterloo have sidewalk
assessments levied against them for the amounts of $3,185.94 and $1,294.25, respectively; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Council that these assessments require
cancellation as these properties were assessed in error.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The sidewalk assessment in the amount of $3,185.94 for the property located at 919
Allen Street (Parcel No. 891326453019) is hereby canceled.
2. The sidewalk assessment in the amount of $1,294.25 for the property located in the
500 block of Johnson Street (Parcel No. 891326453020) is hereby canceled.
3. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to notify the Black Hawk County Treasurer
of the cancellation of the assessments.
