RESOLUTION NO. 2026-538
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AN AIR SERVICE
DEVELOPMENT GRANT WITH IOWA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION, IN THE AMOUNT OF $48,000.00,
FUNDED AT EIGHTY PERCENT, IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE FY-2027 AIR SERVICE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE DIRECTOR OF
AVIATION TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS the Iowa Department of Transportation has awarded the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, an Air Service Development Grant in the amount of $48,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the grant is funded eighty percent and will be used in connection with the
FY 2027 CSVI Terminal Building Remodel Project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that acceptance of the grant is in the best interests of
the City of Waterloo.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,
1. The Air Service Development Grant with the Iowa Department of Transportation, in
the amount of $48,000.00, funded at eighty percent, in connection with the FY 2027 Air Service
Development Program, is hereby accepted.
2. The Mayor and Director of Aviation are authorized and directed to execute the grant
agreement and all related documents necessary to accept and administer the grant on behalf of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
