ORDINANCE NO. 5851
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY OF WATERLOO
CODE OF ORDINANCES BY REPEALING SECTION 3,
COMPOSITION AND MEMBERSHIP, OF CHAPTER 1,
PLANNING, PROGRAMMING, AND ZONING COMMISSION,
TITLE 2, BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS, AND ENACTING
IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION 3, COMPOSITION AND
MEMBERSHIP, OF CHAPTER 1, PLANNING,
PROGRAMMING, AND ZONING COMMISSION, TITLE 2,
BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 3, Composition and Membership, of Chapter 1, Planning, Programming, and
Zoning Commission, Title 2, Boards and Commissions, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, are hereby repealed and replaced as follows:
2-1-3: COMPOSITION AND MEMBERSHIP:
A. Composition: The planning, programming and zoning commission shall consist of
the seven (7) members from the city at large. The seven (7) commissioners from the city at large
shall be appointed by the mayor subject to the approval of the city council.
