AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5079, AS
AMENDED, CITY OF WATERLOO ZONING ORDINANCE, BY
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP REFERRED TO IN
SECTION 10-4-4, A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE "S-1"
SHOPPING DISTRICT TO ALLOW OFF -PREMISE SIGNAGE TO BE
LOCATED AT 2027 CROSSROADS BOULEVARD, TO ADVERTISE
FUTURE RETAIL BUSINESSES AT 2039 CROSSROADS
BOULEVARD, ON A 339 SQUARE FOOT SIGN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Official Zoning Map referred to in Section 10-4-4,
Rezoning Certain Property, of Ordinance No. 5079, as amended, City of Waterloo Zoning
Ordinance, be amended to approve a site plan amendment to "S-1" Shopping District, to
allow off -premise signage to be located at 2027 Crossroads Boulevard, to advertise future
retail businesses at 2039 Crossroads Boulevard, on a 339 square foot sign, legally
described as follows:

1. That the sign will be allowed to have 78 square feet of off premise signage but
will be required to meet all requirements of an on premise sign except as
approved by variance.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this
Ordinance with the Recorder of Black Hawk County, Iowa.
