Question from Ana Seaman (Henkel Construction Company) at 01:12 PM on 12/13/2019
I have attached a marked up print of some items that my guys on site are asking for some direction with. The print shows tying on to the existing DWV
on the East side of the kitchen exterior wall. In order for this to be done, Henkel will need to remove a lot of concrete in the storage area on the back
side of that wall to allow us access to these points which could result in some extra cost. This could also create a depth problem for the grease trap
depending on existing depth of the pipe. I also believe that these would be the drains that Osgood was concerned about running through the
interceptor. I believe that there is a couple of ways to remedy this. One would be to tie the existing into the new piping in just the main location instead
of the four separate locations. This would still have these lines running through the interceptor which may cause an issue with the city. The other
solution would be to leave these lines tied to the existing drain line that isn’t being removed.
Please let me know your thoughts on this.

Extend the floor cutting as required to take the vents on the backside of the kitchen wall to conceal piping as discussed at the construction progress
meeting held 12/17 at 2:30 pm.
The contractor shall connect the existing sanitary sewer piping that is deemed unacceptable to be routed through the grease interceptor to an existing
active sanitary sewer that will bypass the grease interceptor. Please keep record of these revisions on the as-built drawings.
