I started downtown on 4th street around our office,then hauled sandbags in the back of my 12/ton truck for most of the t- day from the Blackhawk St. facility to multiple places that needed them. Many loads up to the west end of the "1 11th street bridge, many out to Bell st out in the Cedar Terrace community, and several out to the neighborhood out around the far east end of Mitchell Ave. I stopped hauling around 9:30 p.m., went back to the Blackhawk St. garage, filled, and loaded sandbags until around 12:30 Wednesday morning. I went back to the Blackhawk St. garage around 6:30 a.m. and filled, and loaded sandbags until around 10:00a.m. when they closed the facility for safety, and moved operation out to the D.O.T. garage on W. Ridgway.
