You and each of you are hereby notified that the City Development Board will, pursuant to Iowa Code Section 368.7, consider the above captioned matter at its regular meeting at 10:00 a.m. on July 11, 2007, in the Main Conference Room, Iowa Department of Economic Development, 200 East Grand Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa. A copy of a map and legal description of the annexation territory is enclosed. This proposal includes some land without the consent of the owners. The Board will review the proposal for compliance with Iowa Code Section 368.7 and its administrative rules contained in 263 Iowa Administrative Code Chapter 7, to determine whether it is complete and properly filed. This review will include evaluating whether the non-consenting property comprises not more than twenty percent of the territory and whether its inclusion creates more uniform boundaries or avoids the creation of an island.
