Council is elected in staggered terms
7 Council Members 4-year terms Salary: $5, 601 . 90 (1996)
elected one from each of five wards, two at-large
The Mayor and Council meet each Monday evening at 7 : 00 p.m. , in the
City Hall Council Chambers . The public is invited to attend. The
business which is conducted ranges from evaluating departmental
reports and recommendations to payment of bills and action on
permits and applications .
