RM-8155(697)-9D-07 SCHMITT Agreement With Schenk Engineering Ward 1 for Engineering Services- Outside Services-Tetra Tech,Inc. CAROLYN COLE Ward 2 Honorable Mayor Hurley and City Council Members: HAROLD GETTY At the February 19th, 2007,City Council meeting,the above-reference agreement with Schenk Ward 3 Engineering was approved as a part of the above-referenced project. This agreement included JOHN A. provisions for"Outside Services"which allows Schenk to hire outside consultants to perform KINCAID additional services. These additional services were not detailed at the time of the approval of this Ward 4 agreement because of the accelerated schedule of the project. RON Schenk has now finalized the details of the additional services,which includes soil borings with WELPER analysis and report, subgrade inspection and compaction testing, and concrete testing. Tetra Tech, r ward' Inc. of Waterloo will provide these"Outside Services". The additional costs are $1500.00 fort e BOB soil borings and$1743.50 for the subgrade inspection and the compaction and concrete testing. GREENWOOD At-Large Staff has reviewed this proposal from the consultant for additional services with Tetra Tech,Inc. and recommends the City Council approve this request and authorize Schenk Engineering to enter ERIC into contract with Tetra Tech,Inc.
